This project began as a large 30-acre uncleared tract of land with multiple rundown existing homes. Even with a quick schedule and record winter rainfalls, our crews made it happen.
We started by establishing construction access points and demolishing all structures. Our ace demolition crew had the site cleaned up in no time, and then it was time for clearing. We cleared the entire site, including around high-voltage power lines that divide the site into two. Then, we began the dirt work and the installation of more than 10,000 LF of pipe.
A unique aspect of this project was the fact that we processed all our pipe backfill and road base using onsite material. Crushing and screening on-site saved money on the site development and spared the surrounding community from excess truck traffic hauling material in and out.
